About the Specialdeals.com Affiliate Program

Everyone loves special deals! Now you can make money from passing around these special deals via emails, websites, blogs, facebook, and twitter. It's easy!

How does the Program Work?

Our Affiliate Program is free to join and easy to use! There is no cost to join and there is no minimum sales requirement. Everyone can join!

If you have a facebook account, you can play our "Special Deals Gifts" facebook app and visit the facebook app Affiliate page to join our Affiliate Program with just one click. You can also join our Affiliate Program via facebook connect or by filling out the information on the right.

When you use our Special Deals Gifts facebook app to send out special deals as gifts to your friends. Each gift link and purchase link have your facebook ID embedded as your affiliate ID.

If you have a website or blog, we provide you with simple one-line embed code (iframe embed shown on the right column or DealsWall embed) after you login so you can place in your site or blog to promote our special deals.

You can join and login your affiliate account from this page and go to our home page or any deal page to share the page with anyone you know via Twitter retweet, facebook share, or AddThis Share (via email) to promote our special deals.

Whatever the promotion you do, your affiliate ID will always be embedded in it. The affiliate ID tracking cookie duration for our Affiliate Program is 90 days - the longest duration in the industry. This means that you will earn a commission on every order from the buyers you refer to us within 90 days of the initial visit. If the visitor returns to Specialdeals.com via another affiliate link or Specialdeals.com marketing campaign within that 90-day period, the most recent referrer earns credit for the sale.

As an individual affiliate, you earn a 10% commission on the profit from the special deal purchased by the customer you refer to us. Corporate affiliates can earn up to 30% commission depending on the sales volume. We handle the entire purchase process and provide you with tracking and reporting information on the top right of this page to help you monitor the money you've made in our program.

How do I Get Paid?

If you are an individual affiliate, we automatically deduct the commissions (up to the full price of a single deal per order) you've earned from any special deal purchase price to give you additional discounts or free deals. You may also choose to donate your commissions to the charity of your choice.

If you are a corporate affiliate and earned more than $100 USD total commissions, you will receive a check from us. For any month that you've not earned at least $100 total commission, your balance will carry over to the next month.

You are an individual or facebook affiliate if you did not sign a separate affiliate agreement with us.

Tips for Earning More Commissions

First, you need to create or log onto your affiliate account at top right. Otherwise, you will not see the iframe embed code or banner ad code mentioned in the tip below. 

1. Go to DealsWall page and copy the one line embed code to your website, blog, and facebook app to have our entire collection of realtime, location-based, special deals making money for you.
2. Go to each city and copy the RSS Feeds which already have your affiliate ID integrated in the feeds. Use the feeds to promote our special deals and earn sales commissions.
3. Send special deals as virtual gifts from our Special Deals Gifts facebook app to every facebook friend you know and often.
4. Use the dropdown menu on to the top right to select the city to find the special deals you want to promote. Come back to this affiliate page and copy the "Special Deals of the Day" and "Featured Special Deal" iframe embed code or other banner ad code shown on the left and bottom and paste the code into your websites or blogs.
5. Use the tweet, f-Share, and Share buttons on the top right of every deal page to send out tweets, facebook update messages, and emails to promote the special deals.
6. Search and find relevant facebook groups and pages and post the deals and links.
7. Search and find relevant Craigslist for sale categories and post the deals and links there.
8. Search and find any other relevant special deals sites such as the Fatwallet Forum and post the deals and links there.

If you do one or all of the above, you will see your commission earnings increasing significantly. Remember, by posting just one deal link or sending just one special deal gift (via the facebook app), you can earn commissions from every, not just the one you posted/sent, special deal purchased by the link/gift receiver in the next 90 days.
